Roof Truss Party of Jõhvi Police and Rescue Board Building

On 7 March 2011, there was a festive roof truss party of the new Jõhvi Police and Rescue Board Building, celebrating the construction of the building reaching its full height.

The new building is located at 38 Rahu st, Jõhvi. The area occupied by construction works is 3114 m², closed net area is 8437 m² and the number of floors is 4+1.

The following space is designed into the building: office space of the Police Board, Rescue Board, and Citizenship and Migration Board, central alarm centre, garages for rescue vehicles, working area of rescue teams, fitness studio, archival repository, shooting range and technical rooms.

As the lead designer, Amhold performed the following services: architecture, interior design, furnishing, landscaping design, structural engineering, HVAC, electrical engineering, security systems, control engineering, sprinkler systems, clean agent fire extinguishing systems, greenery, traffic and parking schemes. Amhold also conducted engineering technical and environmental surveys. The Contracting Authority was State Real Estate Ltd.

The cornerstone of the new Jõhvi Police and Rescue Board Building was laid on 29 October 2010 and the construction of the building will be completed in October 2011.
