Emplacement of foundation stone of Kammeri School

On Tuesday, 22nd September 2009 was emplaced the foundation stone to the construction of Kammeri School located at Tartumaa, Kambja Parish. Amhold Ltd was the leading engineering bureau of the building complex project.

The event was opened by Tõnis Lukas the Estonian Minister of Education and Research and Jaak Saarniit the Board Chairman of Estonian Public Procurement Ltd.

The existing school and workshop buildings and garage-warehouse were demolished. Boarding school, pumping plant and basketball court will be reconstructed for the next spring. Besides that, technical utilities and greenery will be updated and new woodshed and bin store will be constructed. There also will be reconstructed wastewater treatment plant and designed roads and tracks for its operating purpose.

School campus net area is 3510,35m², gym net are is 951,0m² and workshop building net area is 556,10m².
The school will be completed in the summer 2010.
