Opening Ceremony of Abja Sports Building
01.11.2014The opening ceremony of new industrial arts and sporting complex of Abja Secondary School was held on November 1st in Abja Rural Municipality, Viljandi County. The design services were provided by Amhold.
The net area of the new building is 5580 m2.The industrial arts block includes the handicraft and woodshop classes for boys and girls. The sports building block of the complex will be built in the next stage.
All rural municipality mayors of Mulgimaa (part of Viljandi County) and Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony as guests of Peeter Rahnel, Abja Rural Municipality Mayor.
Amhold’s tasks included architectural, structural, and interior design, as well as electrical and weak current engineering design for the new building complex. Our company also performed engineering technical and environmental surveys, landscaping design, solutions of roads and parking areas, HVAC and other mechanical engineering designs.
