Reconstruction Design of Building and Facilities of Jämejala Psychiatric Clinic of Viljandi Hospital

Amhold started designing the building complex of Jämejala Psychiatric Clinic of Viljandi Hospital.

The gross area of the building built in 1967 is 2,396 m2 and the plot area is 42,000 m2. The Clinic is intended for the treatment of psychiatric patients with special needs.

The main objective of the reconstruction design is enhancement of energy efficiency and reduction of CO2 emission. A complex reconstruction of medical-technological solutions of the Clinic and relevant technical systems will be also carried out.

Amhold will perform engineering-technical and environmental surveys, also architecture, landscaping, interior design, structural, electrical and control engineering, HVAC, water supply and sewerage system, traffic schemes, greenery, and infrasystems design as well as quantity surveying, maintenance cost estimation and author’s supervision of the construction works.

The estimated completion date of the final design is 17 November 2011.
