Amhold recognises the duty to fully complies with the Occupational Health & Safety Act, and will, as far as is reasonably practicable:
• Provide adequate financial and physical resources to maintain and improve health and safety;
• Appoint competent employees to assist in the application of statutory provisions required by the health and safety law, to formulate policy and monitor health and safety performance;
• Carry out risk assessments, implement adequate controls and review them regularly;
• Provide and maintain systems of work which are safe and without risk to health;
• Provide employees with such information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary to ensure they are competent and to secure their safety and health at work and that of others who may be affected by their actions;
• Carry out health surveillance where appropriate;
• Maintain a safe workplace, ensure access and egress are safe and without risk;
• Monitor safety performance and audit to maintain and improve the agreed standards.
